<p>At the 2009 <a href="http://sxsw.com" target="_blank">SXSW Interactive</a> festival, I organized a <a title="#SXStarWars" href="http://jaybushman.com/sxstarwars/" target="_blank">real-time, twitter based reenactment of the attack on the Death Star, under the hashtag #SXStarWars</a>.</p>
<p>For the 2010 conference, I&#8217;m kicking it up a notch, with an adaptation of <a href="http://twitter.com/sxstarwars/empire" target="_blank">The Empire Strikes Back</a> &#8211; the <a href="http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Episode_V:_The_Empire_Strikes_Back" target="_blank">entire story</a>, with additional material from the <a href="http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Empire_Strikes_Back_(radio)">NPR radio play</a>, through the tweets of <a href="http://twitter.com/sxstarwars/empire/members" target="_blank">64 different characters</a>.</p>
<p>You can follow the story at the SXStarWars/Empire Twitter List at <a title="SXStarWars-Empire" href="http://twitter.com/sxstarwars/empire">http://twitter.com/sxstarwars/empire</a>.</p>
<p>And if you&#8217;ve missed your favorite part, don&#8217;t give in to hate and aggression &#8211; once the script reaches the end, it will start over from the beginning.</p>
<p>Special thanks to <a href="http://www.monkeysandrobots.com/" target="_blank">Eric Gradman</a> for his Jedi-like coding skillz.</p>
